My family has been coming to the Town of Rome for more than four decades. First, we just had a travel trailer on an empty lot. There were lots of campfires with grandpa and gram, aunts, uncles, and cousins after a long day of planting trees or swimming at Lake Arrowhead. Years later we brought in a house at Meadow Lane and we created even more memories. Now my family is scattered, some in different states, and we've all gotten too busy with life.  So in 2021, we added three new houses on this same street and opened them all up for you to make memories too.

My name is Paula and together with my husband, Henry, we manage my family’s land in Rome, Wisconsin. The community of the Town of Rome has become much more than we thought it would have since my aunt, uncle, and parents bought land in the 1970s. What started out as a place to hunt, fish, and eventually park their travel trailer after years of camping and adventuring has evolved into two of their daughters beginning a short-term rental business together.  Our hope is to provide others the opportunity to admire and experience the area. And so, Away Homes Wisconsin was born.
